Fun, fells and favourites as festival continues
The festival continues today with the Cafe Walk which sets off from The Fig Tree, High Street, Garstang.
One of a series of short walks, this four mile trek takes in the old railway line and Lady Hamilton’s Well. The price is from £2, dogs on leads are welcome. Contact the Visit Garstang Centre on 01995 602125 or email [email protected] for more details.

Hide AdOn Wednesday, August 7, children aged 6-11 can take part in a Minibeast Hunt around Beacon Fell Country Park.
This free event lasts approximately two hours and is over just half a mile long. Booking is essential and children must be accompanied by an adult. Please phone 01772 533919.
Also on Wednesday is the Waddow Lodge Garden Afternoon in the inspirational two-acre garden created around the Georgian house with views to Pendle and Bowland.
Garden owner Peter Foley will offer guided tours with free advice and plants for sale.
