This cult occult film includes newly discovered material and will also be screened on January 20 for those too afraid to Scratch and Sniff!
Audience members will receive a scratch card overlaid with 10 encapsulated odours, and will be prompted at key scenes throughout the film to break the gel coating and inhale the associated aroma.

Hide AdJean Cocteau’s surrealist re-telling of The Beauty and The Beast – La Belle Et La Bête – is the final Gothic film of the month and will be introduced by Dr Bruce Bennett from Lancaster University’s Film Studies Department.
The season will continue into February and March when one of the highlights will be a stage adaptation of Nosferatu on March 14 by Ian McMillan.
Meanwhile, on Sunday afternoon, and in complete contrast, the cinema dances into 2014 with more screenings live from the Bolshoi Ballet.
Bringing New Year sparkle will be Jewels, inspired by the jewellery shops on New York’s 5th Avenue, it’s a tribute to women and to the cities of Paris, New York and St Petersburg.
