Can we have some more of a Dickens’ classic?
With instantly-recognisable tunes and a story drawn from Charles Dickens great novel, Oliver Twist, the show is here in the hands of award-winning Fylde Coast group Nogal Productions, who are making their debut at the Charter.
The company, which has performed shows on the Fylde for many years, including many at Lytham’s Lowther Pavilion, has made the decision to bring this year’s summer production to Preston.

Hide AdAnd they have chosen the enduring family favourite, packed with universally known songs such as I’d Do Anything, You’ve Got To Pick A Pocket or Two, Food Glorious Food, and As Long He Needs Me.
Opening night is tonight at 7.30pm with performances running daily at the same time all week until Saturday when there is a matinee show starting at 2.30pm.
With Nogal’s artistic director Sue Gallagher MBE at the helm, the company, which marks its 30th anniversary next year, has produced a spectacular with a 50-strong cast including 18 youngsters.
