Championing Lancashire’s business women
Lynne Livesey, Pro-Vice Chancellor at the University of Central Lancashire (UCLan), said the wider business community needed to continue to foster the wealth of talented female leaders to ensure they thrive in the county.
Tomorrow, she will lead the judging panel for the Business Woman of the Year category of the Be Inspired Business Awards, the BIBAs, when it visits finalists.

Lynne said: “Some of our brightest and most inspirational business leaders are women.
“Without them the economy of Lancashire would be a much less innovative and successful place.
“As a university which puts enterprise and business at the heart of what we do.

“By recognising and celebrating the achievements of some of those leading lights we hope we can not only provide a spotlight for today’s success stories to shine, but also to encourage the next generation of business women.”
