Queues as Preston coffee-lovers rush to Starbucks for a quick caffeine fix
The chain welcomed customers back to around 150 stores across the country on Thursday.
And the rush for a caffeine fix led to delays on Blackpool Road today (May 16) as cars queued at the drive-through.

Hide AdIt prompted questions online over whether getting a coffee was a good enough reason to go out, with the Government currently urging people to stay at home "as much as possible".
One Twitter user, who works as a community first responder for North West Ambulance Service according to his bio, said: "Huge queue in Preston today for Starbucks, folks we are still in a pandemic crisis we still need to only go out for exercise if necessary please don’t let a coffee be the cause of a second wave."
