Lloyds Bank closes two Preston branches after staff contract COVID-19

The bank has closed its branches in Fishergate and Garstang Road, Fulwood with immediate affect after two separate and unrelated cases of coronavirus among its staff.
It has forced a number of staff to self-isolate at home for 14 days, leaving the branches short-handed and unable to open.

Hide AdLloyds said it could not confirm a reopening date at this stage, but said "we’ll reopen as soon as we can".
A Lloyds Bank spokesman said: "We have temporarily closed the branches in Fulwood and on Fishergate after two colleagues were separately diagnosed in unrelated cases with Covid-19.
"Our priority is the wellbeing of our colleagues and customers and we continue to follow Government guidance.
"As a number of our colleagues are now self-isolating we’re unable to open the branches, but we’ll reopen as soon as we can."
