The 23-year-old from Penwortham said: "We were ready to open in October, then due to restrictions, that was delayed until December.
"So having to put a brake on it a few weeks later was really disappointing.
"But I've been keeping on the ball, and in this latest lockdown I've been building up the website and got a deal with Klarna for buy-now-pay-later, so I'm feeling positive.
"Now I really want to cement the business' place in the community and build a relationship with customers."

Prem says his jewellery collection caters for "as cheap as you want to go or as expensive as you want to go", with a special interest in diamonds.

He learnt the trade from his father, who runs P H Jewellers in New Hall Lane.

Prem's premises are big enough to have up to four people in the shop at any one time, but from a maximum of two households.
There are screens across the counters for hygiene and security reasons, and all surfaces are fully sanitised after each customer has left.

Those wanting to try on rings or handle jewellery are still allowed to, with the rings deep-cleaned afterwards.
