Bad Education actor Layton, who hails from nearby Bury, spent a day at Priory Academy putting Year 9, 10 and 11 pupils through their paces.

He explained : "I never forget anything but I had a really busy week and I forgot the workshop in November, I was on the train. “I messed up but I did manage to get there and give them something but I wanted to make up for it and so I came here!" Photo: Tony Cross

He's been spending lockdown with his mum and added: "With the theatres being closed during lockdown I have been delivering workshops."
