Hide AdEuxtronomy – the Euxton Astronomy Group – was formed on February 1, 2015 and is open to anyone who has an interest in the night sky.
Its aims are to share a common knowledge and interest in what is probably the most studied subject in human history.
All levels of interest are welcome.
The major fund raising programme for the state-of the art observatory is the vision of group founder Steve Berry, of Chestnut Avenue, Euxton.
He said: “It’s not ambitious to me. I’m very confident that if we can get enough people behind it, it will turn into something really special.”
