Caribbean warmth at Preston's 6th Windrush Festival
Organiser Adrian Murrell admitted: “It was biggest and best yet – it was an absolutely brilliant day.”
The event, which celebrates Preston’s multi-cultural identity, attracted people from all over.

The festival was held at the Vernons Sports and Social Club. Next year the organisers are hoping to stage the event in Avenham Park.
A big screen was laid on for England’s World Cup game against Panama. And a cricket match, in which the Windrush Warriors narrowly beat a Proud Preston side, also entertained the crowds.
