Plenty of new applications have been registered with South Ribble Borough Council’s planning department this week.
Among them are plans for new homes in Little Hoole and Whitestake, a new children’s home in Penwortham, and changes at the Ashbridge school and nursery site in Hutton.
5. Preston Scania, Four Oaks Road, Walton Summit Centre
Bosses at Preston Scania are seeking a change of use of their site in Four Oaks Road, Walton Summit, in order to extend the HGV and service vehicle parking area and ancillary HGV sales.
They also want to erect a boundary fence to secure the new yard area, install new lighting columns, relocate an existing truck wash and associated screening, as well as earthworks to reprofile land levels.
