Chorley Scouts to help Croatian friends refurbish bombed-out school
Chorley Healey Scouts are heading to Rajic, Croatia, to visit their friends at the Zelena Patrola Scouts group.
The group will spend ten days at Camp Dupin, in the forest area close to the Bosnia Herzegovina border, to help the Croatian scouts refurbish a bombed-out school building into a scout and community centre.

Bryan Cocker, assistant scout leader, said the experience will be ‘life-changing’.
He said: “This is a never-to-be-forgotten experience.”
The scout leaders will be driving the group to Croatia in a van, and will also have camping and sports equipment to donate to the centre.
An international friendship between the two groups began online in 2013, followed by a visit from the Zelena Patrola group in 2014.
