66-year-old woman 'seriously injured' after being hit by car in Upholland

Police are appealing for information following a serious collision in Upholland.
A car collided with a 66-year-old woman in the car park of Hall Green near to the junction roundabout at around 1:30pm on February 8.

Hide AdThe driver of the vehicle then left the scene of the incident before providing their details.
The woman remained in hospital for several days where she was being treated for serious injuries.
PC Damian Whittle of Lancashire’s Tactical Operations Division, said: “A woman has suffered serious injuries and our thoughts are with her at this time.
“We need the driver of the vehicle involved to get in touch so we can establish exactly what happened.

The vehicle involved in the collision is possibly a green coloured car, according to police.
It is believed a male witness stopped at the scene and made a remark that he had seen the vehicle registration.
No report has been received from either the driver or potential witness at this time.
