Hide AdCrews revealed that this was the second deliberate fire they have attended at the site which has been targeted by spates of antisocial behaviour since the closure of the club in 2014.
Watch Manager Dave Shaw said: "We have had two incidents at this site in a month.
"The incidents appear to be related to antisocial behaviour at the site of this former nightclub.
"It seems that certain people are gaining access to the building and recovering the metal from the wiring and setting fire to it.

"These are extremely selfish acts and people are having longer response times because of these individuals' behaviour.
"If anyone in the area notice anything suspicious we would ask them to call 101.
"We would also appeal to business owners who may have CCTV in this area which may help to share that with us."
Nobody was injured in the incident.
