Brutal street attack in Chorley
Thomas Graham, 45, was kicked in the head, face and body as he lay on the ground and is currently undergoing treatment in hospital as the manhunt continues for his attackers.He was set upon after having a conversation in the street with s group of men and women on Lyons Lane at around 10.30pm on Saturday.
As he started to walk away one of the group punched him in the face, knocking him to the ground.

Hide AdThe attacker and another two to three people started to repeatedly kick the victim and only stopped when shocked members of the public bravely intervened.
The thugs ran off, but one of the group remained at the scene, appearing worried about the victim.
Police are keen to trace anyone with information, including this person.
Today DC Alan Thomson, of South Division CID, said: “This was an unprovoked and extremely violent attack on a man on a busy main road.

Hide Ad“Witnesses describe one of the group, not believed to be involved in the assault, who remained at the scene and appeared concerned about the injured victim.
“We need to find those responsible for this brutal attack and I would appeal to the community or to members of this group to come forward with any information.”
Mr Graham suffered a suspected broken nose and cheekbone and was taken to Royal Preston Hospital for treatment.
The first attacker is described as white, around 5ft 11in, of skinny build, with short to medium length dark hair and a large nose.
