Drink-driver arrested after allegedly being found more than three times over limit in Lancashire

A woman was stopped by police as she pulled onto her driveway in Clitheroe this morning (July 9).
Police say the woman had been sent home from work after she had turned up smelling of alcohol.

Hide AdOfficers claim the woman was found to have 126mg of alcohol in 100ml of breath following a breathalyser test - more than three times the legal limit of 35mg.
The woman was arrested for drink-driving offences.
A spokesman for Lancashire Police said: "Driver of this Mini in Clitheroe has been sent home from work smelling of alcohol.
"Driver was stopped as she pulled onto her drive and provided a reading, disgracefully, of 126!
"She has been arrested."
