Hospital assault case
A WOMAN who assaulted two men in a hospital, and later absconded during subsequent court proceedings, has been jailed for 165 days.
Kelly Littlechild, 37, of Dodgson Road, Preston, also admitted possessing diamorphine.

Hide AdPreston magistrates said the offences, on May 10, were serious because they involved two assaults on public servants which were sustained, using a weapon. She was also ordered to pay a £115 surcharge.
BAMBER BRIDGE: Mary Hanslope, 69, of John Street, Bamber Bridge, near Preston, was given 16 weeks in prison, suspended for 12 months, after admitting benefit fraud.
Magistrates heard she failed to disclose her job between 2010 and 2013, affecting claims for council tax benefit and housing benefit. She must pay an £80 surcharge and £85 costs.
LANCASTER: A burglar has been jailed for 12 weeks.
Alexander Joseph Burgmans, 33, of Fleet Green, Lancaster, admitted trespassing in a house on Market Street, Lancaster, and stealing a two coats, a bag containing receipts, and a vacuum cleaner.
Preston magistrates ordered him to pay a surcharge of £115.

Hide AdPRESTON: Richard Sheppard, 38, of Burnslack Road, Ribbleton, Preston, admits using racially aggravated threatening behaviour towards a man and must pay £50 compensation, a £200 fine, a £30 surcharge and £85 costs.
PRESTON: A man who stole a car and drove without insurance has been given a 16 week jail term, suspended for 12 months.
Robert Towers, 33, of Neptune House, Preston, admitted the offences to magistrates.
He must have drug treatment and was banned from driving for 12 months. He must also pay compensation of £400.

Hide AdCHORLEY: A man who admits harassing a woman with text messages has been given a restraining order by Preston magistrates.
Fabian Alexander Blackburn, 30, of Bolton Road, Chorley, was also given a rehabilitation requirement, and must pay £150 compensation, an £85 surcharge and £85 costs.
PRESTON: Ainsley Harewood, 25, of Nimes Street, Fishwick, Preston, admits assaulting a man.
He was given a curfew and must pay £150 compensation, magistrates ruled.

Philip Lewis, 41, of Cotswold Road, Chorley, was given a curfew after admitting two counts of stealing booze and having three thefts taken into consideration, and must pay £30 compensation.
Leon Thomas Smith, 35, of Eversleigh Street, Preston, admits stealing razor blades and must pay £100 compensation and £85 costs.

Jason Parr, 18, of Countess Way, Bamber Bridge, admits driving without insurance or a licence and must pay a £120 fine, £20 surcharge and £85 costs.
