Thomas Lloyd, 33, of Slaidburn Drive, Lancaster, appeared before Preston Magistrates’ Court, where he pleaded guilty to a charge of abandoning property on a highway, on land in the open air.
The incident relates to April 23 this year, when Lloyd went to an area of Church Road, Kirkham, near Preston, which is owned by Network Rail.

The bench ordered him to pay compensation of £200 to Network rail, as well as a £200 fine, a £34 victim surcharge and £85 costs.
The case comes after the Post revealed lockdown had brought a ‘huge increase’ in fly tipping to Woodland Nature sites in Lancashire.
And last November, official figures, released by Defra, revealed the true scale of fly-tipping in Preston, and the fact that most people get away with it.

In one case, rotting carcasses of pigs were dumped in Poynster Street off Ribbleton Lane, Preston.
