Leyland prison inmate accused of foul acts towards officers

Michael Peters, 36, now of HMP Thameside, is accused of five counts of maliciously administering a destructive or noxious thing with intent to injure of aggrieve, following an alleged incident at the prison on December 11, 2018.
The action is known as ‘potting’ and there have been several similar court cases involving officers at the same jail before the courts recently.

Hide AdJudge Beverly Lunt adjourned the case to December 4 for a further hearing following technical difficulties.
