Lost Patterdale Terrier picked up by police in Chorley

The playful young Patterdale Terrier was found roving loose along Dover Lane in Brindle, near Chorley, at around 4pm.
He has been named Edward by officers who brought him back to Chorley Police Station in St Thomas's Road, where a scan revealed that the dog has not been microchipped.

Hide AdUnable to locate his owners, Chorley Police posted an appeal on its Facebook page in the hope that the public might help return him to his home.
But the force has expressed some concerns about the dog's welfare, after officers found injuries similar to those suffered by hunting dogs that are used for wildlife crime.
