Preston gun probe - appeal to find driver after shots fired in city street

The motorist is thought to have seen a Land Rover on Charnock Fold shortly after a firearm, believed to be a shotgun, was fired twice from inside a car in Preston yesterday.
The Land Rover, thought to have three suspects inside, travelled the wrong way up the road, with the driver of the Ford reversing to allow the car through.

Hide AdA police spokesman said: "Further to our earlier appeal regarding a firearms discharge in Preston, we also want to trace the driver of a Ford Fiesta."
Police were called around 3.30pm on Sunday, August 30 to reports a gun, had been fired twice in Elcho Street.
No-one was injured but a property was damaged - though it is not believed this was the intended target.
Three men, wearing balaclavas, were seen fleeing the scene in a silver Land Rover travelling in the direction of Garstang Road.

Hide AdDetectives are appealing for information and are particularly keen to speak to anyone who saw the weapon being discharged.
Anyone who saw the gun being fired, saw what happened, or saw anyone acting suspiciously in the Elcho Street area, are asked to come forward.
