Thief gets ban from town store
A PROLIFIC shoplifter who targets Leyland stores has been back before the courts.
Suli Marie Baliga, of Hough Lane, Leyland, was jailed for four weeks suspended for a year by Preston Magistrates’ Court after admitting stealing £118 of washing powder from Morrisons supermarket in the town on June 22.
The 27-year-old was also ordered to pay a £115 victim surcharge and £85 prosecution costs by District Judge Jane Goodwin.
The judge said her sentence was consecutive to a previous term imposed for another offence.
She was banned from entering the shop for six months
