Two 17-year-old boys arrested after large knife, heroin, crack cocaine and taser seized in Burnley

Police detained two 17-year-old boys after witnessing some "suspicious activity" on Cavour Street at about 1.30pm yesterday (February 24).
Officer conducted a search of the property that the boys were connected to.

Hide AdThey found heroin, crack cocaine, a large knife, packaging, scales, a sum of money and a taser disguised as a torch.
A spokesperson for Lancashire Police said: "Around 1.30pm on Monday, February 24 officers from the Targeted Crime Team witnessed some suspicious activity which resulted in two 17-year-old juveniles being detained on Cavour Street.
"A search of property they were connected to lead to the recovery of Class A drugs namely heroin and crack cocaine along with, packaging, scales, cash, a large knife and a taser disguised as a torch."
Both teenagers were arrested for possession with intent to supply Class A drugs and possession of a taser.
