Fire crews called to Royal Preston Hospital
Fire crews were called to Royal Preston Hospital after a blaze broke out in a boiler house.
Two engines, from Fulwood and Preston, turned out to the fire which involved an electrical generator in a boiler house on site.
Nobody was hurt, and the fire was limited to the generator and some ducting.
Firefighters with breathing apparatus used a hosereel jet to put out the fire, which broke out just before 1pm on Wednesday.
