Garstang School of Dance stage magical show
Audiences praised the ‘brilliant’ performances from the Garstang School of Dance, who were back to perform another inspiring production, involving more than 300 dancers.
The show programme was packed with expert routines to popular music as well as much-loved musicals.

Hide AdPamela Proctor, owner of the school, based at Garstang Community Academy and Cabus Village Hall, said the reaction to the show had been wonderful. She added: “The show went so well, with a fantastic atmosphere both on and off stage.
“The children have been fantastic in rehearsals and we all feel very lucky to work with such fantastic children.
“Dancing in the theatre is a magical experience, and we are very proud that the children can experience this.
“It creates amazing memories for them and the family watching.

Hide Ad“It teaches the children to work as a team and gives them an extra confidence from taking part.”
The display was choreographed by Pamela and instructors Claire Pedder, Claire Redmayne, Rebecca Donor and Donna Fleming.
The school has now been running for 16 years and offers dance classes in ballet, modern and tap for children and tap and dance fit classes for adults in Garstang and the surrounding areas.
Dancers put on the special show every other year. Pam added: “ We carry on going from strength to strength due to our lovely pupils, parents and our growing team of talented teachers.
“They are fantastic and choreograph superb routines.”
