Pair wanted after Morecambe attempted robbery
Police said that at 8.30pm on Tuesday, February 2, a 58-year-old woman was walking on a cycle path close to Brendjean Road when she was approached by two men.
The pair asked the woman for a lighter before demanding money.

Hide AdWhen the woman refused, one of the men attempted to grab her handbag, causing her to fall to the ground.
The woman suffering bruising to her arm in the incident, with the pair running off after they were disturbed by a passing cyclist.
Police would like to speak to this person and are asking for them to come forward.
Det Con Donna Hemingway, of Lancaster CID, said: “This was a frightening experience for the female involved and as such I am looking for any information or witnesses especially the passing cyclist to get in touch.
“We need to find those responsible and would encourage anyone with information to contact police on 101 quoting crime reference WB1600968.”
