The Plungington Hotel in Preston to close this weekend as refurbishment is set to go ahead
and live on Freeview channel 276
A new era will descended upon The Plungington Hotel in Fulwood as it is set to change hands after tomorrow and is expected to undergo a refurbishment.
The hotel's current management took to social media and said: "Some of you may have already heard; it is with great sadness that we have to announce that we are leaving the Plungington Hotel.

Hide Ad"We hope that over the past four and a half years we have given The Plungington a little bit of sparkle. We think its a wonderful pub, with great customers and really is the cornerstone of the community in the area. We would like to thankyou all for your support and friendship over this time, we will sincerly miss you."
The last pints will be pulled tomorrow and it is expected a refurbishment will be carried out by the hotel's owners Admiral Taverns.
The management added: "We would like to thank Admiral Tavern’s, whom we have sincerely enjoyed working alongside and they are planning to carry out a refurbishment to this wonderful historic venue, so they can continue the next chapter in the development of The Plungington with a new team at the helm."
