The doorman claimed that it was company policy, based on advice from the local authority, not to allow travellers into the pub following an incident a few weeks ago where two groups refused to socially distance.
He said in the clip: “The brewery has been instructed by the local authority not to admit travellers."
Following a conversation about the alleged policy, the doorman said: "I do appreciate what you're saying.

A spokesman for Lancaster City Council said: “This is categorically untrue.
"The city council has never, and would never, suggest to any premises they should adopt such a policy.
"We will contact the brewery concerned to explain that to have such a blanket policy would be unlawful and is clearly unacceptable.”

Hide AdA spokesman for Marston’s said there is no ban on any social group and that a member of the door security team was mistaken.
He said: "There was an incident two weeks ago between two groups who refused to socially distance in the pub.
"The police and local authority insisted the pub was to operate door staff moving forward.
There is not a ban on any social group.
"Under the circumstances a member of the appointed door security team believed they were acting with the best intentions of preserving the safety of our employees and guests, but was wrong to suggest there is a specific ban on any social group.
"There has not and will not be one in place in any Marston’s pub."
