Work starts clearing up Jam's garden
Pensioner Jam Imani Rad carried out extensive landscaping on land in Harrington Street, Preston, but failed to gain written permission.
Although landlord Community Gateway Association (CGA) has now allowed much of the work to stay, it gained a court order for the removal of unauthorised items deemed to be a health and safety risk.

Mr Rad said: “I feel absolutely devestated.
“I couldn’t remove the plants, I wasn’t able too - when you grow something you have a special connected to it, and you can’t just kill it.”
