Fitz's Goodison triumph
Fitzgerald stopped Hungary’s Gabor Balogh early in their light-middleweight contest and the Commonwealth Games gold medallist could be back in the ring as early as July as he looks to increase his experience.
The 24-year-old said: “It was another good win – the lad came to fight and that gave me the openings.

“It is nice to keep stopping them. Eventually I want people to give me the rounds but if I can knock them out, I will do.”
There were more than 15,000 fans inside Goodison Park to see Evertonian Bellew win his title fight, with Fitzgerald thrilled to be part of the evening.
“The whole show was amazing,” said Fitzgerald.
“Boxing at the Commonwealth Games was a big thing but this was an unreal atmosphere.
“To be part of a stadium show was a fantastic experience.
“There is talk of me fighting again in July.”
