World heavyweight champion Tyson Fury pulls up weeds in Morecambe with his dad Johnny

Tyson Fury and his dad Johnny came across the Alley Champions by chance but ended up donning orange hi-vis jackets and getting stuck in.
WBC champion Tyson filmed his dad doing the weeding and uploaded the video to Twitter, joking he would pay his father 35p for his efforts.

Hide AdTyson said in the video: "Go on dad, he's working for the local council. Alley Champions we are.
"Go on dad, put your back into it, son. Come on, I'm going to pay you here, 35 pence an hour."
County Councillor Margaret Pattison who was weeding along with other councillors and members of the public, said: "We were just getting our stuff out when I heard a voice saying 'what are you doing girls'.
"We just said we were doing our bit weeding in Morecambe. Tyson and his dad thought it was a community payback scheme!

Hide Ad"I asked them to put the orange bibs on which they agreed and looked part of the group. Tyson started filming his dad doing some weeding.
"He joked his dad was getting paid 35p an hour by the council!
"We had quite a good laugh and I got a picture with them.
"They stayed for about 10 minutes then went."
Alley Champions was set up to try and transform community spaces.
County Councillor Margaret Pattison who set up the group said: "The council have got other things to do, so we thought we would leave the alleys for now and get on with weeding streets."
