Grayson targets Deepdale double
The Lilywhites swept aside Brentford with a 4-2 win on Saturday and will be looking for back-to-back wins at Deepdale with Gianfranco Zola having just one victory to his name in 12 games as Blues boss.
“Three games in any week can define your season, especially when you’re getting down to single figures of games left,” Grayson told the Post.

“We’re looking forward to it but we know we’ve got a tough game.”
Grayson is hoping for more of what he saw against the Bees, with a first win in five Championship games leaving PNE 11th and seven points off the play-offs.
“We want to play with the energy we had without the ball and stop the opposition from playing,” said the North End boss. “When we do that we look a very strong team.

“We’ve got to do the right things and be positive in our approach.”
Whether it can be same again when it comes to team selection is another matter.
Callum Robinson was replaced 20 minutes from time with a foot injury against Brentford while Paul Huntington suffered a dead leg.

“You can keep the continuity going, the consistency going after Saturday’s performance and pick the same team,” said Grayson.
“But the other side of it is that one or two might be fatigued or carrying little knocks, so I might have to change it.
“We’ll see what we go with on Tuesday night and hopefully whoever’s picked is ready to come into the team and do a good job for us.”
