The Shrimps have been labelled as the surprise package in League Two this year with four wins in a row seeing them presently fifth in the table, just three points off an automatic promotion spot.
It has been a remarkable turnaround for the Shrimps who began 2020 at the bottom of the table.

Adams said: “It’s fantastic to be in the position we are in. It’s more than we could have ever asked for really.
“We are on a good run going into the New Year. The form we are in and the ability we have shown to win matches has been excellent.
“The team is in good form, the lads understand the game and they understand the positions they are playing in, and we have a good squad now as well.

“We are enjoying things at the moment but we need to keep things going and keep our standards high.”
Adams’ success had seen him linked with the managerial vacancies at Ross County and Bradford City in recent weeks – and the Scot says that speculation is a good sign.
He said: “You want to have people speculating on your manager and players because if they are doing that then you are doing well.
