Preston North End lost 0-3 to Leicester City on Monday night as the Foxes clinched the Championship title at Deepdale. Jamie Vardy broke the deadlock on 36 minutes and doubled Leicester’s lead seven minutes into the second half, before Kasey McAteer headed home number three after the hour mark.
Here are our player ratings from the game.
5. Liam Millar - 5.5
Had a few moments early in the first half, but was on the fringes of the game after that and spent most of his time defending.
6. Ryan Ledson - 5
Gave it a go in there but a tough night against superior opponents. Kept it neat and tidy early doors, before Leicester's midfield went on to dominate. Eradicated risk in his play but it often looked rushed and loose.
7. Alan Browne - 5.5
If that was his final match at Deepdale, it wasn't in ideal circumstances. Kept running the hard yards but wasn't able to influence the game as he would've hoped.
8. Robbie Brady - 6
Started aggressively and nicked the ball a few times in decent areas. Sent plenty of crosses in but they blew hot and cold.
