PNE target Andrew Hughes keen on Championship move
Posh chairman Darragh MacAnthony revealed on Twitter on Tuesday night that North End had made three bids for Hughes, all of which had been turned down.
Barry Fry, United's director of football, doesn't expect that to be the end of it.

Hide AdFry told the Peterborough Telegraph: "We’ve turned down three offers from Preston so far, but if they up their offer slightly the deal could well be on.
“Our manager likes Andrew. His original contract runs out at the end of June, but we have already taken up the option of another year.
"We’ve spoken to his agent about a further extension, but he insists that won’t be happening,
“Andrew is 26. He has only played for us and Newport and he fancies the challenge of the Championship and the benefits that come from that.
“I expect Preston to come back for him."
