February half-term 2020: what to do with the kids in Preston and around as the bad weather continues

As storm Dennis continues to bring heavy wind and rain, here are some bad weather ideas for how to keep the kids entertained.
Surround yourself with dogs

It’s an ideal opportunity to meet some great dogs, have a lot of fun and contribute to an excellent cause.

There’s a traditional Chinese dance class on 17 February, 1.30pm to 2.15pm or if you’ve got yourself a regular karate kid, there’s a martial arts lesson on 18 February from 1.30pm to 2.15pm.

Join in the activities at Salmesbury Hall

The hall has a variety of events set up to keep the kids entertained over the holiday.
Between 17 February and 20 February, beloved children’s entertainer Betsy Bumblebee will be there with plenty of stories to tell between 11am and 12am.
If the weather does brighten up at all, kids will also be able to explore the Mayflower playground.
