Voice winner '˜privileged' to turn Chorley's Christmas lights on
Despite poor weather, a large crowd still gathered to see the former Liberty X star perform before flicking the switch on this year’s festivities.
The 36-year-old, who went to school in Leyland, said it was good to be back in his home town for the big event.

“It was good to take my little boys along, and for my family to see me. I still get nervous but I was quite busy meeting people before going on stage, so that took the edge off.
“It’s more when you have a lot of time to think about it.”
The switch-on event, organised by Chorley Council, started at 3pm and led to a spectacular finale that saw the town hall clock tower lit with an amazing firework show just after 5pm.
A Christmas market was also held along Fazakerley Street, while the Rock FM stage was on Market Street with a whole host of performers before Kevin took to the stage.
